CANCELLATION POLICY

The reason health professionals implement cancellation policies is because whenever a patient cancels at short notice it means another person needing help has potentially missed out on being attended to.

 

But I also understand that sometimes life happens; and it becomes impossible to make your appointment. For this reason I have a staggered cancellation policy which reflects the opportunity remaining for other patients to book the vacated appointment time:

 

1) More than 4 hours notice

= no fee charged

 

2) 60mins notice to 4 hours notice

= 50% of your appointment fee*

 

3) Zero notice ("no-show") to 60mins notice

= 75% of your appointment fee*

 

*Fee payment will be requested digitally and must be paid within 24 hours of the cancelled appointment time. No further appointments can be attended until fees owing have been paid in full.

Please note: this cancellation policy does not apply to NDIS appointments as the NDIS stipulates a specific cancellation policy.
